Juicy 'Maters - Living on 'Mater Sammiches

Well!  Hello there…glad to see you!  I don’t know just how you found your way to JuicyMaters, but I’m really glad you did…finally.  The only question is, “What took you so long?”  Your answer probably is,

“Well…for one thing, this blog didn’t exist yesterday.”

Oh yeah…there IS that little detail.

Well, it DOES exist today, and you are welcome to wander around.  You might actually find something that interests you…

“Not likely…without a fast improvement.”

OK OK OK…gimme a break.  I’m just getting’ started…

If you are the homestead / farmstead type, there is a section on small scale farming that you ought to wander around in.  You will find information on marketing a market garden …and you might pick up an idea or three on other products to sell besides the fruit and veggies you grow.

Another section that will interest you if you like alternative housing is my Yurt area.  You will find yurt thoughts divided into two catagories…one on building a yurt where you will find a step-by-step guide to constructing a modern yurt, and a section on yurt living where you can learn about the history of yurts, the modern yurt, the differences between a yurt and conventional housing, and a diary of sorts…a journal…of my living in a yurt.

“Yeah…that journal will be exciting…”

OK, OK, OK…so maybe it’ll be a bit boring…I hope not…but if it is, use it for bedtime reading.  Send me the check later for curing your insomnia.

Other parts of the blog you might enjoy are my section on food…sourcing and cooking good, healthy food.

OK OK…sometimes “good” and “healthy” are mutually exclusive…but not always.

“Rising From the Ashes” is interesting…and, sometimes, enlightening, as is Addiction Recovery…give them a look if you are interested.

Then there is the deep, dark dungeon of JuicyMaters, kept hidden like a crazy uncle in the attic…

Politics!!!

As far as likes/dislikes I have to admit, this is my favorite section.  I’m a political junkie…so sue me.

I’m not going to tell you where I am politically (you’ll find out soon enough), but I’ll say that in the politics section of JuicyMaters ALL points of view are welcome, with a few, very few, rules, most of which are in the opening of the section.  The ONE rule I’ll mention here is “be polite”.

I have a delete button and WILL use it on profanity or rudeness.

While you wander around, you can go to the Music section and listen to my wildly, randomly eclectic playlist, or you can select one genre to listen to.  Shuffle ‘em up or pick one song…it doesn’t matter, just enjoy the tunes.
